John Mayer once said ‘Just keep me where the light is’. Using light as a metaphor to express positivity. I used both lightness and darkness in this piece to represent how life is both positive and negative and is experienced cohesively together in the human experience. As much as this artwork began as a character study of my favourite musician, I still think that’s kinda cool.
